Proliferative Therapy

proliferationstherapie Proliferative therapy is an injection method, which stimulates the body to the local formation of fibrinous tissue.

The proliferation therapy is used to treat loose ligaments and joints either unstable or hyper mobile joints in the spine, the pelvis or in the periphery.

In our practice we use 10% glucose solution in combination with a local anaesthetic.

Depending on the indication, a series of injections will be carried out in 6-8 sessions. As a result there is a significant increase in the density of the connected tissue in the injection area, resulting in hardened volume ratios and this improved management and movement of the joint.

Pain and progressive degenerative joint disease, caused by increased laxity, can be treated well with proliferative therapy.
